Datamine's Enhanced Production Scheduler (EPS) is a powerful and comprehensive scheduling package with remarkable ability to effortlessly handle long to short-term scheduling of both open pit and underground mines.

Training will be provided to a maximum of 6 end-users and a minimum of 3 end-users per training course. 

DATAMINE reserves the right to postpone a course to a later date should the minimum of 3 delegates not be met.

EPS FOR OPEN PIT

FOUNDATIONS

This is a 3-day introductory training course for users with little to no knowledge of Datamine's EPS for the open pit space. The course seek to provide the basic understanding of the functionalities of EPS for OP.

Daily timetable:

This course will run in 3 x 2 hour slots during the each day.

8:00am -10:00am; 10:30am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Training courses are open to all companies. Training is based on DATAMINE’s standard training datasets.

Mining Engineer - Datamine Africa

Thabang graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, with a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering in 2016. He started his professional career as a Graduate Mining Engineer at a mechanised, underground platinum mine in South Africa. He moved to Datamine Africa over 2 years ago, joining the company as a mine planning junior consultant - primarily focussed on the open pit space. He has been stretching his experience in project consultancy and project management through collaborations in various technical mining and optimisation studies throughout Africa. He has dedicated a significant portion of his time to client support and delivering open pit projects - from short-term planning to Life of Mine optimisations - including conceptual, prefeasibility and feasibility studies in nickel, manganese, gold, and iron ore operations.

He is a proficient and comprehensive user of Datamine’s open pit planning solutions (NPVScheduler, Studio OP and Enhanced Production Scheduler). Over the years, he has extensively trained and supported mining industry personnel on Datamine’s planning solutions throughout Africa.
